Fresh seafood crudo at Guma Bar Restaurant
About Guma

Where the promenade meets the plate

Guma sits right on Sarandë's seafront, where fishing boats still come in with the morning catch. That's the starting point for everything on the menu — seabass, octopus and shrimp prepared simply, so the sea does most of the talking.

Alongside the seafood, you'll find the dishes that shaped this coast: Albanian tavë and casseroles from home kitchens, Greek-influenced salads and breakfasts, and Italian pasta and wood-fired pizza — three culinary traditions that all look out over the same Ionian water.

Why Guma

A seat on the water, food that earns it

Guma's terrace looks straight out over Saranda Bay — outdoor seating, sea air, and views across to Corfu on a clear day. Whether it's breakfast at sunrise or dinner as the lights come on along the promenade, the setting does half the work.

  • Outdoor seafront seating
  • Views across Saranda Bay
  • Open from early morning
  • Steps from the port

Seafood arrives with the boats each morning, which is why the grilled fish and crudo dishes change slightly day to day. We'd rather tell you what's actually fresh than print a menu that never changes.

  • Sourced from local fishermen
  • Simple preparations, big flavor
  • Daily catch on the grill board
  • Nothing frozen and forgotten

Alongside the seafood, the kitchen keeps to recipes passed down rather than reinvented — Elbasan yogurt casserole, moussaka, and tavë made the way they're made at home, sitting comfortably next to the pasta and pizza on the same table.

  • Traditional Albanian casseroles
  • Italian pasta & wood-fired pizza
  • Greek-influenced salads
  • Recipes, not shortcuts
