Fresh catch off the boat, wood-fired pizza, and Albanian family recipes — served on Sarandë's promenade with the Ionian Sea as your view.
Guma sits right on Sarandë's seafront, where fishing boats still come in with the morning catch. That's the starting point for everything on the menu — seabass, octopus and shrimp prepared simply, so the sea does most of the talking.
Alongside the seafood, you'll find the dishes that shaped this coast: Albanian tavë and casseroles from home kitchens, Greek-influenced salads and breakfasts, and Italian pasta and wood-fired pizza — three culinary traditions that all look out over the same Ionian water.
Guma's terrace looks straight out over Saranda Bay — outdoor seating, sea air, and views across to Corfu on a clear day. Whether it's breakfast at sunrise or dinner as the lights come on along the promenade, the setting does half the work.
Seafood arrives with the boats each morning, which is why the grilled fish and crudo dishes change slightly day to day. We'd rather tell you what's actually fresh than print a menu that never changes.
Alongside the seafood, the kitchen keeps to recipes passed down rather than reinvented — Elbasan yogurt casserole, moussaka, and tavë made the way they're made at home, sitting comfortably next to the pasta and pizza on the same table.

"The seabass came straight off the grill and the terrace view over the bay made it hard to leave. Easily one of the best seafront meals we had in Sarandë."
"Ordered the Paella Valenciana to share and it didn't disappoint — generous, fresh, and the staff walked us through everything on the menu without rushing us."
"We came for breakfast and stayed for the view. The Albanian breakfast was generous and the coffee was strong — exactly what we needed before the beach."
